Zach Warren leads legal industry insights and strategy for the Thomson Reuters Institute. Zach has been writing and speaking on legal industry trends for more than a decade, currently helping spearhead TRI's legal industry thought leadership and reports such as the State of the Legal Industry, State of the Corporate Law Department, and more. Zach is also the host of TRI's Clarity and Clarity on Tech podcasts, and is a frequent speaker at conferences and on webcasts on legal industry economic trends. Previously, Zach was TRI's technology & innovation insights lead, helping launch new technology research initiatives such as the Generative AI in Professional Services Report. Before the Thomson Reuters Institute, Zach was the editor-in-chief of ALM’s Legaltech News and regularly appeared in ALM publications such as Law.com and The American Lawyer. Zach lives in Minneapolis with his wife and two dogs, and has a bachelor’s from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.

Valerie is the Vice President of Solution Engineering at Thomson Reuters, where she uses her litigation and intellectual property background to advise legal professionals on how to leverage artificial intelligence in their practices. Valerie is a frequent speaker on the application of generative AI to solve common pain points in legal workflows. Before joining Thomson Reuters, Valerie served as the Vice President of Customer Success at Casetext, where she worked on the testing and development of CoCounsel. Previously, Valerie was a litigator at Jones Day. She received her J.D. from Stanford Law School and studied computer science at Princeton University.
