Samantha Eriks
Investigator, Child Support Division, Prosecutor’s Office, Lake County, Indiana
Samantha Eriks is an Investigator with the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office IV-D Child Support Department. She began her career in Criminal Courts as a caseworker before transitioning into an investigative role as the sole locate caseworker. In her short time with the department, Samantha has actively worked to locate hard-to-find participants and gather employment or business ownership information. She is dedicated to establishing inter-agency relationships to continuously track participants in both local and interstate cases.
Samantha holds a degree in Criminal Justice with a focus on Juvenile Justice and Sociology from Indiana University Northwest and Ivy Tech Community College. She also has Skip-Tracer certifications and was recently recognized as a Thomson Reuters Everyday Hero.
Cheston Newhall
Director of Product Management, Equifax
Cheston Newhall currently serves as the Director of Product Management for the Insights division at Equifax Workforce Solutions. With over 10 years of experience in Consumer Data & Technology companies, Cheston has focused on solving real-world problems in Public Safety, healthcare, government, and background screening. Throughout his career, he has held various sales, product, and strategic roles. Cheston was recognized as a Forty Under 40 recipient by Business First for his contributions to growing companies and improving the Louisville community.
Cheston lives in Louisville, KY, with his wife Krista and their four children, all under the age of five. When he isn’t helping companies grow or wrestling with his kids, he can usually be found running.
Daani Svonkin
Senior Client Executive, Government, Thomson Reuters
Daani Svonkin is a Senior Client Executive at Thomson Reuters, managing government accounts across Alaska, California, Hawaii, Nevada, and Guam. She joined the company in May 2016 after a distinguished 23-year career with the City of San Bernardino Police Department. During her tenure at the police department, Daani held various roles, ultimately finding her niche as an Asset Forfeiture and Intel Analyst in the Vice/Narcotics Division. There, she utilized resources like the CLEAR database to identify numerous subjects and successfully seize millions of dollars in illegal proceeds from narcotics-related activities.
Daani takes great satisfaction in tracking down individuals who believe they can evade detection, relishing the challenge of finding those who try to stay hidden. Today, she channels that same passion into her role at Thomson Reuters, equipping her clients with the tools, skills, and knowledge they need to achieve their goals.
