Eligibility

If you are an individual, aged 18 or over, legally resident in the United Kingdom, and working or engaged as a legal or technology/IT professional in a law firm (including as a Partner, solicitor, barrister, paralegal, or in a legal operations, legal technology or legal support role) at the time of entry, you are eligible to enter the Prize Drawing. You do not need to be a current Thomson Reuters customer to enter.

An individual is responsible for reviewing, understanding and abiding by their principal's or employer's policies regarding eligibility to participate in activities such as the Prize Drawing described in these Official Rules. If you are participating in violation of your principal's or employer's policies, you may be disqualified from registering for and/or participating in the Prize Drawing and being awarded or retaining a prize.

Prize Drawing period

The Prize Drawing begins at 12:00:01 a.m. (BST) on 1 August 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. (BST) on 15 September 2026.

Prize Drawing entries must be submitted using the electronic form found on this page. One entry per person per Prize Drawing.

Legal Geek UK 2026 Complimentary Pass Drawing

We will award a total of 10 prizes in this Prize Drawing. Each prize is one (1) complimentary pass to Legal Geek UK 2026. The Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of each prize in this Prize Drawing is £650.00. The total ARV of all prizes is £6,500.00.

Each winner will be responsible for paying all costs and expenses related to the prize that are not specifically mentioned, including, but not limited to, travel, accommodation, and any other expenses that might reasonably be incurred by the winners in receiving or using the prize.

Prize Drawing

Potential winners will be selected in random drawings for each prize to be held after 15 September 2026 from among all eligible entries received during the Prize Drawing Period. We must receive eligible entries during the Prize Drawing Period for them to be eligible for the drawings. We will notify each potential winner by email, using the email address provided at entry, within ten (10) business days following the drawing. The prizes will be awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose). Limit one (1) prize per person for a total of 10 Prize Drawing winners.

No purchase necessary

Entry to this Prize Drawing is free and no purchase, payment, or contribution of any kind is required at any stage. This Prize Drawing is a free draw and does not constitute an illegal lottery under the Gambling Act 2005.

Miscellaneous

The Prize Drawings are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you win a prize, you may not transfer, assign, or redeem the prize for cash. Each winner agrees that, by accepting the prize, we, along with our affiliates and agents, will have no liability, and will be held harmless by the winners for any liability, loss, injury or damage to property or person, including death, and reasonable legal costs, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize or participation in the Prize Drawings
